Aggregate Cement Processing Controls and Instrumentation
The Right Mixture. The Strongest Build.
The precise mixing of cement is a vital aspect of any construction project, and as the project’s scale increases, as does the importance of accuracy. Because mistakes can threaten both profitability and the structural integrity of the build. And do-overs on large volumes are extremely problematic and costly.
Raska Analytics and Flow assists builders, construction companies, and other organizations by providing, installing, calibrating, and maintaining the latest in aggregate cement processing instrumentation for unparalleled accuracy and control.

Precise Instrumentation for Imprecise Materials
Aggregate cement makes up approximately 2/3 to 3/4 of the total volume of concrete, which includes other materials like crushed stone, sand, gravel, recycled concrete and more.
Many of these materials have no true uniformity regarding size and volume. “Crushed stone” (et al) knows no precise material size. As such, the better the controls and instrumentation, the better the overall quality of the cement.
This can include devices such as sensors and controls for pressure, temperature, volume, level monitoring, and more. Processes can be automated, controls and alerts set, and transfer volumes made predictable. And this is at every stage of the process – mixing, transporting, delivery, drying/cooling, etc.
Some of the instrumentation we procure, sell, install, calibrate, and maintain includes:
Automation Equipment: Control and monitor every aspect of the process with encoders, sensors, signal conditioners, and more. Increase safety and monitor/analyze material at every stage of the process.
Level Transmitters and Switches: These can consist of point level/continuous level instruments, capacity probes and switches, paddle and tuning fork switches, sensors and transmitters, guided wave radar controllers, and more. These allow for precise monitoring on conveyors, crushers, silos/tanks, trucks, and other aggregate equipment.
Electromechanical / Solid-State Pressure Switches: Used for (you guessed it) detecting changes in pressure in silos, coolers, air compressors, and more.
Temperature Gauges and Controllers: All manner of temperature measurement comes into play. Thermal imaging, infrared pyrometers, heaters, coolers, moisture measurement, and more.
As stated earlier, Raska can install a complete system from scratch, update what you have, procure needed instruments and parts from leading manufacturers, calibrate and maintain equipment, consult on the best solution, and more.
