Oil & Gas Measurement, Custody Transfer Fiscal Metering & Instrumentation

Precision. Guaranteed

Perhaps the most complicated aspect of any oil and gas operation is the importance of proper measurement and flow control. Especially when it comes to monitoring distinct types of liquids and gasses along multiple stages of extraction, refinement, and delivery.

The instrumentation and equipment necessary are specialized, and have been influenced greatly by modern technology. In short, yesterday’s rusty valves and jumpy meters are ill-equipped to handle the precise measurement that is crucial to both safety and profitability.

Raska offers Oil and Gas Measurement, Flow, and Instrumentation services that cover all petroleum measurement needs. Our services are tailored to your exact requirements and operating conditions. We can handle everything from end to end, consult on equipment needs, procure/install the equipment, provide testing and calibration/maintenance services to existing equipment, train your people, and/or procure parts and instrumentation. Or any combination of such.

Bottom line: If the measurement of oil/gas/related is an issue in any fashion, Raska has the solution. Request a quote, or contact us with any questions

Instrumentation and Equipment

We work with a wide array of instrumentation from the world’s leading manufacturers. Here are some of the more common equipment types we utilize/procure/maintain.

**Note: This list is not all-encompassing – if you need a piece of instrumentation or equipment related to measurement and flow and don’t see it listed, contact us anyway. We will not only know exactly what you require, odds are we either have it in stock, or can get it quickly!

Instrumentation is for both input and output, and they are different. Input instruments generally monitor/measure temperature, flow, pressure, and levels. Output instruments typically have additional safety controls and alarms to warn against potentially dangerous situations.

  • Sensors: To measure solids, fluids and gasses.

  • Transducers: Monitor and convert variations in temperature, pressure, flow and/or level.

  • Transmitters: Receives information from transducers and sends it to to the main control system.

Within these three preceding equipment types are a myriad of individual components, such as:

  • Gas Analytics Equipment: Gas analyzers, detectors for toxic gas, flame, emissions, oxygen levels, and more.

  • Pressure Instrumentation: Pressure gauges, switches and transmitters for monitoring tanks, pipes, and vessels in real time. Capable of displaying engineering units such as PSI, BAR, vacuum, inH2O/etc.

  • Temperature Monitoring Instrumentation: Controllers, thermal imagers, infrared pyrometers, heaters, and many more.

  • Flow Meters: All types - thermal mass, open channel, ultrasonic positive displacement, and many more.

  • Level Sensors: All manner of sensors for liquids and gasses, with controls for high/low level alerts.

  • Many more.

Again, our services are all-encompassing, including factoring in the unique climate and conditions for your various operations (which do matter).

Our experienced staff can assist you with finding the most cost-effective instrumentation/processing equipment that meets your needs. Contact us to learn more.
